A Fast and Fun place to work!

Coastal Cloud is growing at a tremendous rate. Founded in 2013, the company now has 3 major hubs, over 130 employees and more than 260 public and private sector clients. Founders Tim and Sara Hale credit their rapid rise to their unique consulting model which includes a team of certified and domestic consultants.

According to TheMuse.com, deciding to work for a start-up can be very beneficial. The number one reason: an employee has the ability to learn and grow. A growing company like Coastal Cloud typically involves its people to wear different “hats” within the company and can offer many different learning experiences. The managing director of Emerging Industries, Brian Gannuscio said, “Coastal Cloud is very young and still needs many helping hands. It’s exciting to be a part of.”

The second reason: an employee that works for a growing company has the ability to work closely with the executive team. Coastal Cloud’s founders Tim and Sara are extremely accessible and quickly respond to any team member’s requests. This was goal they were aiming for when establishing their company. After working for a large IT company for over two decades, they wanted Coastal Cloud to have an approachability factor that they did not have.

Lastly, a start-up is beneficial because an employee has the opportunity to leave their mark. Many growing businesses give their team opportunities to develop items from the ground up. Data Architect, Tom Harney said, “Coastal is an exciting, new, entrepreneurial company growing at a rapid rate with a culture that allows me to make meaningful contributions while maintaining my own sense of individual identity.” Harney said it perfectly. Coastal utilizes the diverse make-up of the team to move the company forward.

Only 4 years old, Coastal Cloud has many recognitions. The most recent is Florida Trend's 3rd place for the 2017 Best Places to Work in Florida and 13th fastest gorwing company in the Jacksonville area from Jacksonville Business Journal
