Florida Gov. Rick Scott helped welcome Coastal Cloud LLC , a high-tech company that is expected to bring 100 jobs to Flagler County over three years.
Scott was joined by local officials and Coastal Cloud owners Tim and Sara Hale at the event held Tuesday morning. Scott lauded the efforts of Flagler County Department of Economic Opportunity Executive Director Helga van Eckert and other county officials in bringing the company to Florida.

Coastal Cloud is a subsidiary of the Hale’s existing business, Graphene, an internet technology consulting firm. The new company will receive a local incentive from the county tied to job creation as well as a Qualified Target Industry incentive from the state, also based on the number of jobs created. The company plans on building a 30,000-square-foot headquarters facility, but is open for business now in the Discovery Center on Hammock Dunes Parkway.
